Course Description

This course provides an overview of intelligent air transportation system design and operations, ranging from air traffic control to UAS collision avoidance. The course is divided into two general themes: ground-based air traffic control and onboard flight operations; and principled mathematical framework and key algorithms for decision making. This course will prepare students for positions in the civil aviation industry and graduate research in air transportation system topics.
